Country and regional managers

Paul Mullan

Head of Heritage Lottery Fund, Northern Ireland

Paul joined the Heritage Lottery Fund as Country Manager from the National Trust where he had spent time as both Area Manager and Acting Regional Director.

Following a degree in Ancient History and Political Science at Queen's University of Belfast, and a years post-graduate study at Trinity College, Dublin, Paul worked at a number of top London Advertising Agencies for clients as diverse as Coca-Cola and the English Tourist Board. Returning to Ireland Paul has been involved in a variety of heritage, tourism and conservation projects, and has written, lectured and broadcasted on heritage matters. Paul also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ulster.

Today, when not fulfilling his duties at the HLF, he spends most of his time chasing (unsuccessfully) after his six year old son Lorcán and three year old daughter Étaín.
