The easiest way to reach the Manchester office is by train. Below are directions for walking from Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road train stations.
From Piccadilly
Leave Piccadilly by the main entrance and walk down the road. At the crossing, continue straight across and keep going along Piccadilly. At the next main crossing, continue straight ahead onto a wide pavement, with Piccadilly Gardens and the statue of Queen Victoria on your left. Continue walking down this round until you have Debenhams on your right and a tram stop on your left. You will then need to cross the tram tracks, taking care to look both ways for oncoming trams. Then cross the road and head onto the pedestrianised Market Street. Walk all the way down to the bottom of Market Street and then turn left onto Cross Street. King Street is then the 3rd road on the left. Cross over at the traffic lights and start to walk up King Street. 82 King Street is the large grey building on the right, with a bus stop outside and steps leading up into it.
An alternative: When leaving Piccadilly by the main entrance, turn immediate left and there is a bus stop. You can catch the Number 1 bus (which is small and orange) which takes you to King Street. The bus stop is directly outside the office, and there is a sign on the bus which gives the names of the stops. This is a free service which runs approximately every 5 minutes during the day.
From Victoria
Exit Victoria onto Victoria Station approach and cross the road. You should see Urbis in front of you. Walk through Cathedral Gardens with Urbis (a large glass building) on your left. At the top of Cathedral Gardens turn left onto Cross Street. Turn immediately right, so Next is on your left and the Triangle Shopping Centre is on your right. Walk past The Big Wheel in Exchange Square and continue along the road. When you reach the Tommy Hilfiger shop on your right, cross at the crossing and walk up King Street. 82 King Street is the large grey building on the right, with a bus stop outside and steps leading up into it.
From Oxford Road
Exit the station and at the bottom of the slope from the station, cross the road. Sainsbury will be in front of you with the Palace Theatre on your right. Continue up Oxford Road until you see the Central Library in front of you. Cross over Oxford Road , then walk towards the Library, walking past the War Memorial. Cross the tram tracks so the Library is immediately in front of you, then turn right and walk past the main entrance of the Library. Continue along this road and onto a pedestrianised square with a statue of a girl feeding birds with the Town Hall on your left. Cross the road next to the Town Hall’s security box, and walk down Princess Street, until you see Starbucks on your right and have Albert Square on your left. Cross the road towards Starbucks and head up Clarence Street, so Starbucks is on your right hand side. At the top of Clarence Street cross over and walk down the pedestrianised walkway, past Destino’s café. At the end of this walkway, turn left onto King Street. 82 King Street is the large grey building on the left, with a bus stop outside and steps leading up into it.
