A good place to start is the How to Apply section on this website. Once you had read through the information, complete the pre application form for the grant programme you are interested in. A member of the Development Team will contact you about your proposal and offer further advice and support as necessary. We may suggest an advice surgery if you have not applied to HLF before, are applying from a priority area, or if the project is complex.
Advice surgeries are available in Edinburgh on the last Wednesday of each month and by arrangement in priority areas

Please note that in June, July and August we will prioritise meetings for projects planning to submit for assessment in September
