Following a performing arts degree at Goldsmiths’ College and a PGCE from the Institute of Education, Louise began her 25 year career in communications with leading advertising agency J Walter Thomson in 1981.
Following spells as account director with Hill and Knowlton and Edelman, she joined Keene Communications in 1988, later co-leading an MBO to become part owner of this top-25 ranked PR consultancy. Over these years she led PR and marketing consultancy teams working for a variety of household name consumer and business brands including Kodak, Ravel, Xerox, Hewlett Packard and Rowntree Mackintosh delivering everything from consumer media partnerships to corporate design, pan European advertising and national sponsorship schemes for clients.
Following the birth of her son, she worked as an independent consultant on various brand and community projects, including the London Electricity ‘Londoners of the Year’ awards campaign, which won the Institute of Public Relations Sword of Excellence. Louise joined the Heritage Lottery Fund in 1998.
