The Heritage Lottery Fund has three general grant programmes through which we expect to make most of our awards – Your Heritage, Heritage Grants and Awards For All.

Targeted programmes
In addition we also have a number of ‘initiatives’ targeted at particular areas of heritage or participants. The questions below will help direct you to the right programme for your project.
Do you need a grant for a project which will involve young people managing and carrying out the project?

Do you need a grant for the restoration of a ‘public park’ (an existing designed urban or rural green space, the main purpose of which is for informal recreation and enjoyment, including parks, gardens, squares, walks and promenades)?
