What size of grant can I apply for?

You can apply for a grant of between £5,000 and £25,000.

 

Is there a deadline for applications?

No, you can apply at any time.

 

How long does it take before I get a decision about my project?

You will be told if you are successful or not within 3 months of us receiving your application.

 

How long can my project last for?

Your project can last up to 18 months.

 

Do I have to contribute anything towards my project?

There is no minimum contribution that you have to make towards your project, but you need to be able to contribute something to the costs of the project, either in cash or ‘in kind’, for example, time, materials, premises and so on.

 

Does my project have to involve young people aged between 13 and 20?

This scheme is designed for organisations that work with people aged between 13 and 20 (up to 25 for those with special needs).  You will not qualify for a grant unless young people aged between 13 and 20 (up to 25 for those with special needs) are involved in managing and carrying out the project.
