Major Museums, Library and Archives Projects Assessment Programme

Between 1996 and 1997 the Heritage Lottery Fund gave £247m to projects to revitalise UK museums, libraries and archives under the `Major Museums, Library and Archives Projects Assessment Programme` (known as MAP).

In order to capture the benefits and lessons of the programme, we commissioned follow-up research in 2002. We have published a summary of our findings which you can view on the link below.
