Biodiversity

‘Biodiversity’ includes all plant and animal species and the ecosystems of which they are part. HLF has awarded more than £238 million to over 1,800 projects to protect important habitats and species in the UK and to help people get involved in and learn more about natural heritage.

Please use the links on the right to find out how our funding is helping to protect our wildlife and meet UK Biodiversity Action Plan targets.
