Thinking about using the arts in your heritage project

The arts can be a powerful tool to help us understand and enjoy heritage.  They can give us insights into our past and can increase our enjoyment by providing powerful ways to explore our heritage. This guidance explains what we can fund and provides creative ideas for using the arts in heritage projects.

Useful for…
Anyone with a heritage project involving art activities applying for a Your Heritage grant (£3,000 to £100,000) or for a larger Heritage Grant (over £100,000).  We recommend you read this guidance if you are an arts organisation and have not accessed our funding before to ensure that you fully understand what we mean by a heritage project.
