IWM centenary partnership
First World War Centenary logoThe IWM's First World War Centenary Partnership is a network of national organisations that will be commemorating the First World War Centenary including museums, archives, libraries, universities and colleges, special interest groups, broadcasters and some commercial companies. Being a member of the partnership gives all members a stronger collective voice, visibility through the Centenary logo, access to a wealth of expertise and resources, and the opportunity to promote their events on the www.1914.org site.

IWM’s centenary plans
Imperial War Museum logoThe Imperial War Museum is leading the national commemoration of the First World War centenary in 2014. In addition to the redisplay of its First World War galleries, the museum is looking for other organisations to work alongside in national commemorations throughout 2014-2018. The Imperial War Museum will take responsibility for ensuring that all events, activities and exhibitions relating to the centenary achieve the highest possible profile.

War Memorials
There has recently been increased interest in the condition of war memorials across the UK. There are a number of sources of funding available to help people look after and learn from their local war memorials and to commemorate the heritage of sacrifice and conflict.
