The Board of Trustees delegates powers to regional and country committees which make decisions on awards of over £100,000 up to £2million.
There are 12 committees – one for each English region, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. They are made up of local people recruited through open advertisement. Committees are supported by grant-assessment teams based in the relevant region or country.
