Strategic Framework 2013-2018

A lasting difference for heritage and people

The strategic framework for 2013-2018 sets out plans designed to deliver long term and sustainable benefits in response to the newly emerging needs facing the heritage sector. It responds to the views of over 2,000 organisations and individuals who took part in our consultation.

As well as introducing new initiatives and changes to existing programmes, the strategic framework sets out how we will maintain our current balance of providing both open programmes and targeted interventions focused in areas of urgent need or opportunity. Our goal is to make a lasting difference for heritage, people and communities and our strategic framework identifies the range of outcomes that we want to achieve with our funding.
