If you answered NO
The Heritage Lottery Fund can only give grants for projects that relate to the national, regional or local heritage of the UK. ‘Heritage’ includes many different things that have been, and can be, passed on from one generation to another. Among these are the countryside, parks and gardens; objects and sites that are linked to our industrial, transport and maritime history; records such as local history archives, photographic collections or oral history; historic building; and museums and gallery collections.
We give priority to applications from not-for-profit organisations. Applications from organisations or individuals that do not meet this criterion are a low priority for our funding.
The Heritage Lottery Fund is only one of the good causes which distribute funding from the National Lottery. If, based on the above information, you will not qualify for a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund you may want to consider funding from one of the other Lottery Distributors. You can find out further information about other Lottery Distributors from www.lotteryfunding.org.uk
