Priority areas

In Scotland we have identified places that to date have received the least Heritage Lottery funding. Our Development Officers work with local groups and organisations in these areas to promote our funding schemes and help develop project proposals. From 2008, the Heritage Lottery Fund will target new areas for development support. We continue to offer pre application advice on projects anywhere in Scotland.

Our new priority areas are:

  • Falkirk
  • Inverclyde
  • Renfrewshire
  • South Lanarkshire
  • In addition, support will be given to areas affected by deprivation and rural isolation

Since 2002 we have been working hard to invest more HLF money in Aberdeen, Moray, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, North Lanarkshire and East Ayrshire together with the former Social Inclusion Partnerships. Working with local groups and organisations and thanks to the enthusiasm of these partners we have now supported some great projects. This newsletter is a celebration of all that has been achieved
