Approximately £1 billion has been awarded in 4,000 grants to restore thousands of historic buildings and monuments
Award winning architectural, new-build projects including The Great Court at The British Museum,
Duxford’s
Imperial War Museum, The Weald and Downland Museum ‘gridshell building’ and The Ruskin Library have been funded, as well as the creation of new community facilities in historic buildings, like Maggie’s Centre, a former Kelvingrove Gatehouse in Glasgow, which is now a cancer care centre
