Before moving to Heritage Lottery Fund Keith spent the last five years at the Public Record Office (PRO) in Kew, Surrey, developing the public services of 'The National Archives'. His work included public information systems, on-line education, capital project management and all aspects of customer services.
Prior to joining the PRO Keith managed a heritage company, designing and supplying museum exhibitions around the world. He has specialized in first person interpretation for over 25 years.
Keith has a PhD in early 19th century British military history and has spent time teaching at Durham and Cambridge Universities. He has given numerous academic papers and published several works on military history.
Keith is married with two daughters.
