About the Heritage Lottery Fund
The HLF enables communities to celebrate, look after and learn more about our diverse heritage.

We fund the entire spread of heritage – including buildings, museums, natural heritage and the heritage of cultural traditions and language. Since 1994, the HLF has awarded over £4 billion to more than 26,000 projects across the UK. 

Expert Panel 
There are opportunities to join our Expert Panel advising on the UK's diverse heritage. We welcome applications from individuals of senior standing with substantial experience in their heritage sector. We also welcome individuals from the heritage sector who have expertise in learning, interpretation, training and skills; community participation, audience development and volunteering; environmental and financial sustainability. We are looking to appoint up to 11 Members. Please select the links below to find out more about the role and application details.
