Access
There is level access into the building from Hills Road. To gain access to the building, there is an intercom system on the post on the left hand side of the door. Press the button labelled Heritage Lottery Fund and wait for an HLF officer to answer. We will then buzz you into the building, where you can make your way through to our office which is on the ground floor at the back of the building. There are toilets, including an accessible toilet, opposite the lift.

Alternatively, an HLF officer can meet you at the entrance to the building if you have any specific access requirements. Please speak to the HLF officer you are meeting with or contact the office on 01223 224 870 before your meeting to make arrangements.

Directions from the train station
Walking from the station takes 5-10 minutes. When you leave Cambridge Station you will see a small roundabout in front of you. Walk straight ahead down Station Road keeping to the right hand side of the road. Turn right at the end of Station Road and continue for about half a mile. Terrington House is on the right just beyond the red-brick St Paul’s’ Church.

Taxis and buses are also available from outside the train station, to the right of the station exit. Buses heading to the City Centre all stop on Hills Road opposite Terrington House.

Directions from the M11
Turn off M11 at Junction 11 (A10) and follow the road towards Cambridge. Keep on this road (Trumpington Road) for approximately 2-3 miles (passing two main sets of traffic lights), then turn right at the next set of lights into Brooklands Avenue (signposted to Station). At the end of Brooklands Avenue, turn left into Hills Road and continue through the next set of traffic lights. Terrington House is situated on the right at the corner of Hills Road and St. Paul’s Road.

Directions from the A14
Turn off A14 at Junction 35 and follow the signs to Cambridge. At the next roundabout go straight ahead towards Cambridge (Newmarket Road). Keep on this road through various sets of lights, straight across the next roundabout. Through a few more sets of lights, then at the next large roundabout turn left and carry on through two more sets of lights into Gonville Place. At the next traffic lights turn left into Hills Road (you will see the big Catholic Church on the far left corner of the junction), Terrington House is on the left hand side, just before the red-brick St Paul’s Church.
