A woman demonstrating bee-keeping at Stockwood Discovery Centre

 Luton

Luton is an important commercial area and over time has supported some major businesses and industries. It is also home to important natural open spaces and home to ancient woodlands and rare species.

Although there have been successful projects funded in Luton, it continues to be an area where we would be interested in funding more. We are working with several organisations, as well as conducting our own outreach work with dedicated HLF Development Officers, to help encourage organisations from Luton who may be considering whether to apply to us for a grant.

Does your group work with the community? Do you have an idea for a project that may have a heritage theme? Would you like to know more about our grants and how to apply to us?

If so, then please contact us or come along to one of our presentations or surgeries.

The Development Officer for this area is Jonathan Latchford who works closely with many community groups and will be happy to give you bespoke advice. He can be contacted on 01223 224 883 or by email: jonathanl@hlf.org.uk.

The next events in Luton will be held on the following dates:

  • 7 August
  • 4 December
  • 20 March 2013

Please call Jonathan for more information.
