We have an open application process for Heritage Grants, Your Heritage and Young Roots grant programmes. You can apply at any time, once you are ready to do so.
Your Heritage and Young Roots
Once you have filled in your application form, you should submit it online and send a signed declaration and supporting documents to our office within 5 working days. You can expect to receive a decision within 10 weeks from the date we receive your completed application and accompanying documents. We will not fund your project if it starts before you get our decision, so please ensure you allow enough time for our assessment (10 weeks).
Submission deadlines for Heritage Grant applications up to £2million (Scotland only):
If you would like to receive a decision by a certain date you must submit a full application by the deadline below in order for us to consider it at the stated meeting.
- 12 March 2012 (decision meeting 19 June 2012)
- 11 June 2012 (decision meeting 25 September 2012)
- 27 August 2012 (decision meeting 4 December 2012)
- 3 December 2012 (decision meeting 19 March 2013)
Important information
We must receive the application form (via our online system), signed, original declaration and all other supporting documents by 5pm on the submission deadline day in order to be considered at the stated meeting.
