Northampton Museums and Art Gallery is adding modern footwear to its renowned shoe collection. With help from our Collecting Cultures programme, it is buying stylistically important and iconic trainers as well as common brands of footwear. Young people advise the museum on what trainers to buy and how best to use them in exhibitions.
