Access to Granby House

There is level access to Granby House and lift access to the first floor. If you might need assistance, please let us know in advance or when you arrive as we will come down to meet you.  If you have any questions or concerns about access, please speak to the HLF officer you are meeting with.

Directions from the train station

Leave the station by the main entrance on Carrington Street. Turn right towards Canal Street and walk straight on, crossing Canal Street and Collin Street at the traffic lights. Turn left before entering the Broadmarsh shopping centre and follow the pavement underneath the underpass and up the hill, alongside Maid Marian Way. When you reach Friar Lane, turn right and Granby House is on the left hand side with the grey door.

Directions from tram stop

You will need to get off the tram at Old Market square, cross over the road and go up Friar Lane passing Costa Coffee on the corner and Forbidden Planet. We are on the right hand side with the grey door.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer visitor parking at Granby House.

There are several nearby multi-storey car-parks the closest are at St. James’ Street (NCP - NG1 6EY) and Upper Parliament Street (Euro Car Parks - NG1 6LD). Please note that St. James' Street car park is currently only accepting NCP pass holders for this car park.
There are also Park and Ride facilities available around Nottingham.

There is further information on some car parks and Park and Ride facilities on the Nottingham City Council Park and Ride website.

Please note we currently have some road works taking place over the summer around the Broadmarsh shopping centre which may cause delays. Further details available on the Nottingham City Council website.

Blue Badge parking

There is Blue Badge parking at the front of Granby House, but this is on a first-come-first-served basis.  Further information on the Blue Badge Scheme can be found on the Nottingham City Council Blue Badge website.
