Directions to 111 Piccadilly,
The easiest way to reach the Manchester office is by train. Below are directions for walking from Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road train stations. 111 Piccadilly is a modern tower building with a grey concrete exterior.
From Piccadilly (allow 5 mins)
Leaving Piccadilly by the main entrance, bear right down to the first junction. At the traffic lights cross Ducie Street and 111 Piccadilly is directly in front of you.
From Victoria (allow 20 – 30 mins)
Exit Victoria onto Victoria Station Approach. You should see the National Football Museum (large glass building) in front of you. Bear left and walk up the road with the museum on your right. At the main road (Corporation Street), turn right and walk along with the Printworks on your left. Turn first left onto Withy Grove (you should see Next on the opposite side of the road) and walk past Hard Rock Café and Tiger Tiger. Continue straight ahead up this road, passing the Arndale car park on your right and continue straight ahead across a junction where there are tram lines. Then turn right onto Thomas Street (shortly after walking past Shudehill Bus Station on your left). Continue along Thomas Street then turn right onto Tib Street which is the sixth road on right, just after a multi-storey car park. Take the first left onto Church Street, which shortly becomes Dale Street. At the end of Dale St turn right on to Ducie Street and 111 Piccadilly is the first building on your right at the traffic lights.
From Oxford Road (allow 15 mins)
When exiting the station, walk down the hill with the sculpture on your right. With Sainsbury’s in front of you, turn to your right and cross the road. You should now have the Palace Hotel in front of you on the right and the Palace Theatre to your left. Go straight down Whitworth Street between the hotel and the theatre and continue along until you come to the Manchester Metropolitan University Sackville Street building on your right. Cross over the road and take a left fork onto Aytoun Street, passing Manchester Business School on the left hand corner. Follow Aytoun Street (with the Doubletree by Hilton in front of you), crossing to your right where the tramlines cross the road. Turn right down Auburn Street (which is a small street with the Malmaison Hotel at the far end). This will bring you to a large junction on London Road and you should see the approach to Piccadilly Station over the road on your right. Go straight ahead across London Road and walk past the end of the station approach road up Ducie Street. 111 Piccadilly is the first building on your left on Ducie Street.
The nearest tram stops to Ducie Street are:
- Piccadilly Station
- Piccadilly Gardens
There is a large public car park on Dale Street opposite the Premier Inn. Alternatively there are a number of other car parks within a five minute walk of the office.
