Find out about funding: from the Heritage Lottery Fund
Tuesday 26 June 10:30am-1:00pm
Spring Housing Association Ltd, Hestia House, 22 Old Walsall Road, Birmingham, B42 1DT
Places of worship are often the first places young people connect with the past. Their stories, traditions and historic walls can bring heritage to life and help young people feel part of their wider community.
Thanks to National Lottery players, places of worship and the youth groups that use them can apply for grants of £3,000 or more to help young people and their local communities celebrate their heritage.
Join the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for an interactive workshop on Tuesday 26 June
- Hear from other youth projects and places of worship to be inspired by what they have achieved
- Discover the range of activities the HLF can fund and get top tips for funding success
- Meet local organisations who can help you plan a new project
This event is open to youth groups and places of worship of all faiths and denominations that are located in Perry Barr and surrounding areas of Birmingham (e.g. Soho, Aston, Handsworth Lozzells, Oscott, Nechells). You do not need to have a listed building or have a specific project idea to attend.
To book for this event then please contact Elise Turner on 0121 616 6883 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also get in touch if you have any queries or if there is anything we can do to make this event more accessible to you (e.g. British sign language translation)
