Great Christmas offer at more than 350 National Lottery-supported heritage sites!

Thanks to National Lottery players £7.8bn of funding has been awarded to over 42,000 heritage projects across the UK
Did you know that without National Lottery players, the £7.7billion of funding awarded to more than 42,000 heritage projects over the last 23 years just wouldn’t have been possible?

As a way of saying ‘thank you’ this Christmas, more than 350 National Lottery-funded heritage attractions across the UK are opening their doors or offering other treats or discounts for anyone arriving with a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard from 11-17 December.

Participating organisations and their offers include:

  • free entry at over 100 National Trust properties on Wednesday 13 December
  • free entry to the National History Museum’s Whales: Beneath the Surface exhibition for the whole week (11-17 December)
  • free entry to the Roman Baths, Bath, on Wednesday 13 December
  • free entry to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for the whole week
  • free entry and a mince pie at Buxton Crescent Pump Room
  • a free tree giveaway at the Woodland Trust’s Skipton Woods Christmas Fayre in the Yorkshire Dales

Are you an HLF-supported visitor attraction interested in taking part? Find out more about the campaign, and register your participation.

At the beginning of December, we will publish an online map showing all the attractions offering something for free to National Lottery players.
