Upcoming events for applicants in London
We run two free workshops to support London-based organisations who are considering applying for HLF funding. Select the workshop that is most relevant to your situation, and register!
Both workshops take place at the HLF London Offices. You may attend both.
Workshop 1: New to heritage and to Heritage Lottery Fund?
This interactive session is for organisations who have never applied to HLF before and would like an introduction to the basics, including the key things HLF is looking for in applications. You’ll have the opportunity to explore your own heritage ideas with the group.
Session length: 2.5 hours including sandwich lunch and refreshments. Please allow longer in your diary if you’d like to have an informal chat with one of our team at the end of the workshop.
- Tuesday 22 January 1pm - 3:30pm
- Friday 22 February 1pm - 3:30pm
- Friday 22 March 1pm - 3:30pm
Contact Selina Papa if you want to attend, indicating your name, organisation, the date you’d like to attend, and any dietary or access requirements. Note: Session content is unlikely to be relevant for existing HLF grantholders
Workshop 2: Thinking of applying to Our Heritage or Young Roots?
This interactive session is for organisations planning to apply to Our Heritage and Young Roots and who are confident about the heritage project they want to deliver. Find out more about completing the application form and hear top tips from the Development Team about:
- Programmes that are still open for applications
- Examples of projects funded
- Our criteria and assessment
- Project planning, budgeting and other useful tips
You can also get additional advice on your project idea.
Sessions are 2.5 hours, and include light lunch, an opportunity to meet other applicants and to speak to HLF’s Development Team about your project idea
Upcoming dates for 2018/19 are:
- Friday 16 November 1pm - 3.30pm
- Tuesday 4 December 10.30am - 1pm
- Friday 4 January 1pm - 3.30pm
