The community has been designed specifically with you in mind - to help you connect with others working on an HLF project, or thinking about applying for a grant with us. It’s intended to be a space to share knowledge, ask and answer questions, and engage in relevant sector debate and discussion.
If you want to join in the discussions, or access any of the downloadable content in the community, you'll need to log in to your HLF account, or create a new one. You can do this by clicking on the 'Log in /Register' link at the top of this page.
We've created forums for general heritage discussions, as well as some of our targeted grants programmes. Please do take a look around to see what’s going on and join in the discussions.
If this is your first visit to the HLF online community then please make sure that you read, understand and consent to our community guidelines. These guidelines will give you a good idea of what is expected of you as a member, and helps us to keep the community a safe space for all users.
The community discussions are overseen by myself and a team of people from HLF with specialist heritage knowledge. From time to time we may need to moderate what is posted in the community to make sure that the space remains safe and friendly for all of our members. You can use the ‘report’ option on posts if you see something that you think is inappropriate or goers against our community guidelines, or you can contact us if you spot anything that you're unsure of. We'll review all reports and take appropriate action as quickly as we can.
I’ve provided guidelines and tips for using the community features, but if anything is missing or unclear, please let me know and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
We hope that you'll support us in developing this community so that it becomes a useful and interesting space, and we welcome useful feedback and ideas for improvements so please share your thoughts with us either on the forums, by sending me a private message (logged in users only), or by emailing us.
I look forward to meeting you in the community!
