On-Line Calendars

3 replies [Jump to last post]

Can anyone give advice on how to access / use on-line calendars?

In addition to a printed version, our group is hoping to have an on-line calendar which will be accessible to read to everyone (with links to our website, Facebook, booking forms etc) and which the group will manage and update.

Thank you.

  1. Hi David

There are an overwhleming number of options out there. In the past, I have gone for the simple route (especially where other users are involved) and made use of Google Calendar.

It gives you the ability to mange multiple layers and users, with good customisation options and it allows you to share the calendar via permissions, by embedding it into a webpage or by printing it out. (Perhaps most importantly - it's free!)

This HubSpot blog post provides a good summary (albeit specifically for content calendars.)

Hope this is of some help.

  3. Hello David,

Our team at Dig Media also use Google calendar, which can be shared among our team so that everyone can access our schedule- we find this very helpful to keep on top of project deadlines, so like Tom, I would really recommend Google calendar.

Please do share if you find other suitable on-line calendars.
