Dear All in the Community,
We would like to introduce ourselves into your community as we have been creating the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire DE13 7AR for the past 12 years. The Grove is a public amenity and open space designed by members of our association and features a Sun Room 8 sided oak building at its centre linked by grass covered reinforced tracking. We have 7 garden areas slowly being populated with plants and memorials commemorating men and women who served in or with the Allied Special Forces during WW1, WW2 and in the many conflicts since. The Grove is a place for remembrance, commemoration, education and quiet contemplation in harmony with nature.
The Grove is a privately funded and maintained by members of the Allied Special Forces Association. Registered Charity No. 1156925, and is an integral part of the NMA. More information can be found on our website memorialgrove.org.uk or by contacting Mike Colton on 07929-118598 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope that this is of interest to the community. Regards, Mike Colton
