Running a 'free offer' for National Lottery players (12 October, 2017)

This December we're asking HLF-supported visitor attractions to take part in a nation-wide campaign to thank National Lottery players, without whom the funding we give would not be possible.

Between 11-17 December locations all around the country who have benefitted from an HLF grant will be offering free entry, or other treats such as a free coffee, a guided tour, some free tickets to a paid-for exhibition, to visitors who arrive bearing a National Lottery ticket - are you one of those visitor attractions?

If so, join us here on Thursday 12 October to hear from those who have been there and done it already. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, Gainsborough's House and the Watts Gallery have all piloted 'free-entry-with-a-National-Lottery-ticket' promotions, and members of their staff will be on hand on 12 October to answer any questions you might have about taking part in our co-ordinated promotion in December.

What do they know now that they wished they'd known then? How did they promote and prepare for their big day(s)? And what one piece of advice would they give to those who have signed-up to December's activity?

Find out all that - and ask them anything more - between 12.30-1.30pm on Thursday 12 October.
