Heritage and local quality of life

People that live nearby to parks, museums and historic buildings can be amongst the main people to benefit from HLF funding. This research looks at the responses that local residents have had to projects that have taken place in their areas.

55 of these surveys have been carried since 2005, exploring the importance of heritage to sense of place and the extent to which HLF funded projects have improved local quality of life. This report presents aggregate findings from all the research carried out so far.
