Pioneer Sailing Trust, plus other heritage organisations
East of England

I have been a volunteer with the Pioneer Sailing Trust since 2003 where I have been responsible for the organisations bid writing and project management activity. My 'day' job is as a skills development specialist where I work with a diverse range of organisations to design and implement training solutions. Most of this work is outside of the heritage sector, but a growing number of organisations are using my experience. This helps as I can bring what I learn from other industries to the party. I am particularly involved with apprenticeships and wider policy initiatives both in the UK and overseas. Outside of work I am a very keen sailor. Hard not to if you are involved with Pioneer Sailing Trust.
